Pools in Athens for Summer 2025: Where to Swim With a Day Pass

Looking to cool off in style without booking a hotel room?

These Athens hotels offer access to their swimming pools for external guests via a day pass or rooftop bar minimum spend. While most hotel pools in Athens are reserved exclusively for guests (to avoid overcrowding), some premium spots do allow outside visitors. As a local who’s tried several of these pools, I’d recommend booking a hotel with pool access if you’re after a more private and relaxing experience. But if you’re only looking to dive in for a day, here are your top options.

1. Mavili Beach – Airotel Alexandros

Tips for Day-Pool Swimmers

  • Call ahead or check websites—pool policies may change based on hotel occupancy or private events.
  • Bring ID and a credit/debit card—some venues require card guarantees even for walk-ins.
  • Weekend pricing is usually higher, as you could see from almost all the options.
  • Go early—many pools operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Before You Dive In

Prices, policies, and what’s included in day passes can change from year to year. While I’ve gathered the most up-to-date details available, I recommend contacting each hotel directly before your visit to confirm current rates, availability, and terms. Better safe than sunbed-less!
