The Maria Callas Museum invites you to a summer filled with music, art, and the legacy of the legendary opera singer.
Join the enchanting evenings under the Athenian full moon. On July 21st and August 19th, the museum opens its doors for free admission events from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM (July) and 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM (August).
Enjoy a unique experience exploring the museum’s exhibits dedicated to Maria Callas’ life and work, while students from the Athens Conservatoire, where Callas once studied, fill the air with music. The museum cafe will also be open for refreshments, making these evenings a perfect blend of artistic discovery and delightful relaxation.
Looking for a fun activity for the kids?
Every Saturday and Sunday throughout July and August, the museum offers a special program called “La Mia Maria” from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This interactive workshop allows children of all ages to unleash their creativity and create their own souvenir postcards featuring Maria Callas using a stencil technique. It’s a nice opportunity to introduce children to the world of opera and the inspiring figure of Maria Callas.
Delve deeper into the world of opera and Maria Callas with a free guided tour offered in English by the museum. The tours take place on the last two Wednesdays of July (24th & 31st) and August (21st & 28th) at 12:00 PM and last approximately 50 minutes.
Book your visit today and discover the magic of music and art at the Maria Callas Museum this summer!
