Established in 2012 in Athens, Greece, ATTIC BLACK features iconic, handmade pottery showcasing the Grecian heritage & culture.
ATTIC BLACK ceramics are hand-thrown, and hand painted with clay-based slips and the colours emerge during firing following the ancient techniques.
The ATTIC BLACK team has been able to recover and revive the ancient craft and thus to offer utilitarian objects whose style, colour, texture, chemical composition and microstructure cannot be distinguished from the original.
The products include ancient toys (dolls, marbles, astragalus bones, iynx, spinning tops, figurines), excavation and conservation kits, jewellery, tableware, cooking pots and minimalistic artifacts inspired by the prehistoric pottery of the Cyclades and mainland Greece.
