How it all started in 1897… a Greek family distillery was established in Kefallonia Island and moved to Athens.
The showroom is still located on the same street where the 2nd and 3rd Generation was opened the ‘Polykala’ Distillery. Rena Polykala, 4th generation of distillers, along with her father Giorgos Polykalas, goes on producing alcoholic drinks with huge enthusiasm and passion, for a customer network all over Greece.
The secret recipes of liqueurs of the great grandfather V. Polykalas are used with the same dedication and they are baptized “1897 Polykalas Collection”, they are combined with the modern times, the flavors evolve and take off, and the packages are replaced with new outstanding bottles. And the name Polykalas became a synonym for quality and good taste.
