This May, Athens offers visitors something extra: a full month of completely or partially free events, performances and activities as part of the Athens City Festival 2025, running from May 1 to June 1. Designed with both residents and travelers in mind, the festival includes more than 200 events spread across 129 locations throughout the city. The 8th Hispanic Film Festival (FeCHA) – May 2-June 5

It will feature 17 feature films, a tribute to Peruvian director Roberto Bonilla and a selection of award-winning Spanish-language short films in the cortoFeCHA section. The festival will open with the film Bajo Terapia, in the presence of director Gerardo Herrero and producer Mariela Besuievsky. 

Closing Party with DJ Liva K – June 1
Celebrate the culmination of the festival with a grand closing party featuring renowned DJ Liva K. Free entry to this electrifying event, where Athens’ central streets turn into a massive dance floor.
