The National Archaeological Museum of Athens is the largest museum in the world devoted to ancient Greek art. Its abundant collections, with more than 11.000 exhibits extending in 64 galleries and its inner garden, provide a cultural panorama from the 7th millennium BC to the 5th c. AD.
The museum hosts annually several temporary archaeological and contemporary art exhibitions, offering thought-provoking encounters with ancient Greek culture.
