The Greek tavern “Aris” is situated in the Arcade of the Immortals (Stoa Athanaton) which houses one of the oldest markets of Athens, “Varvakios Agora”. It is a family tavern of warm and friendly ambience offering fresh grilled meat and fish which comes directly from the Central Market. The grilled food accompanied by fresh salads adds Greek taste to the lunch. The tavern has been described by visitors as a “little gem” in the city centre.
